The Obsidian Turnout 150g has a light heat-insulating filling that makes it well suited for chilly weather. The accompanying neck protector has a 100g filling and is easily attached to the blanket with the help of hook and loop.
Both the blanket and the neck cover are made of a water-repellent material (5000mm-3000gsm) with very good breathability. The lining consists of a woven textile whose smooth surface prevents chafing. The Welltex technology in the material strongly reflects the horses body heat in the form of infrared energy (FIR). Obsidian envelops a large part of the horses body in Welltex, which stimulates blood circulation in the large muscle groups, increases the horses well-being and can promote softness and mobility in muscles and joints.
