Velcro closures make them easy to put on and take off. Though they are contoured to your horse's leg shape for less bulk, they are flexible and won't impede your horse's movement. ADJUSTING FOR PROPER FIT:
Start at the middle and secure the velcro straps from top to bottom.
Return to the strap in the middle (ankle area) and insure it is snug but does not interfere with movement. Ensure that the middle strap is snug enough so that the circumference of the strap is smaller than the horses ankle.
Re-check the top two straps to insure they cannot slide down over the fetlock area.
If the velcro adjustments are too loose at the top, the boots may slide down causing the horse to walk on them, which in turn may damage the boot.
