Effect: this bit has a gag action. The German 3 ring bit is particular as it prevents from any pinching around the usual friction areas. The lever action is progressive and slightly softer than the lever action of a classic 3 ring bit.
Tips: this bit can be used with reins fixedly attached on the bottom ring, with bit loops or with two pairs of reins. The squared cannons and the copper rollers makes it easier to get a more relaxed horse. It can suit a horse that is a little heavy on the reins and that needs to relax more.
